Fifty Shades Darker…not really darker, but more plot heavy…which is good. The characters are also getting fleshed out a bit, and given motivations for their actions, which I like. Some parts are annoying and repetitive (stop with the inner goddess and visible subconscious, already…it was cute once or twice, but became simply ridiculous!). In book two, Ana and Christian deal with their insecurities, (a section which went on far too long), and I skipped a couple of the sex scenes because they were becoming redundant, but overall, I think I liked this one better. And oh, that shower scene!
