So, I still don’t get why this book gets such rave reviews, but I am enjoying it, I guess. There are LOTS of characters and no real indication who is important and who is just there to distract us from the main mystery (didn’t really know it was a mystery, actually). Many of these extraneous characters have fairly similar names, too, so it’s a little mind-boggling, but I’ve been just reading through it and hoping it will all become clear. I also care NOTHING for Swedish politics or financial intrigue, so that part is a tad boring. But, it is moving fairly quickly as a story and has enough twists and turns to keep me interested so I’m continuing. I’m 52% done…still waiting for the bottom to drop off this ride and set the story into high gear.
